I recently bought a Fender Mustang III and it is an amazing amplifier, the only problem I have with it is that it gives off a stupid amount of static/Feedback, in some cases I have problems hearing my instrument over it, Can someone give me any tips or pointers as to what is causing this?

I don't think that is what he is talking about, the fizz many don't even hear.

Does it do the static without a guitar plugged in?
Does it do it with every guitar?
Does it do it with every cord?
Does it do it when you wiggle the plug?

Does it do it on every model?
Is it control by the master volume?

Let's go from there and maybe some ampheads can chime in.

I have a similar problem. I noticed that the static reduced greatly when the amp was connected to my laptop through the USB port. Hope this helps.
