I just got a 4-button footswitch for my MIII that I will use for QA1/QA2/QA3 and I want to set my 2-button footswitch to turn mod/delay on and off. There is however no such setting when i scroll through my amps utility menu. Is there any way I can get this setting or is it just not possible to have that configuration for the 2-button? In that case, I really hope that Fender can make that available in future upgrades!

Hey Nofire,

Unfortunately, controlling Mod/Delay with the 2 button footswitch isn't possible with the current firmware. I agree that there should be more options for the 2 button. Perhaps that will make it into a future version of firmware.

Nofire, maybe not the answer you are looking for, but this is what I do. I set up banks of say lead presets. I will have one (00) with reverb and delay. I use delay a lot when I play solos, just my style. Then, the next slot (01) will have the same amp setup but has only reverb. The next slot (02) is dry. This gives me some options with each of the lead sounds that I use. I do the same for clean and rhythm presets. There are a lot of other options.

I think for me I would really prefer using the 2 button switch for up and down rather than turning on and off an effect, but that is just my opinion. That and $.02 won't get you a cup of coffee.
