Okay, all fizz discussons aside....started thinking of something cool for the Mustangs.

Anybody else but me would like to see a Tweed version of the Mustangs? Tweed Mustang I = '57 Champ-like / Tweed Mustang III = '57 Deluxe-like.

Am thinking I would sell off my standards to replace them with Tweeds...or at least is what I'd tell myself as I bought 'em.

I'm certain the tweed covering would bring out some extra classic tone qualities....

I think a tweed version would be cool... I'm not sure I'd swap mine for on, but if I hadn't already purchased one, I might have opted for tweed.

How about a red Tolex one with a blonde or oxblood grille?
Actually I've been fantasizing about getting another M1 and sticking its guts into an old 1930s era radio!

That would be cool too... Wildwood has a very cool limited maroonish colored DRRI with wheat/tan cloth...that looks pretty sweet too!

It's fun to see some different colored amps. I have a hunch if they release any other colors it would be probably be tweed... I don't know how popular these different colored amps are? I know with Boogie's you can order different colors but who knows how popular they are with most players :?:

Well, if you're brave... or crazy enough, you could get one of these and stick the Mustang's electronics in it. http://www.thevintagesound.com/store/tweed-deluxe-combo-cabinet-p-189.html
I've thought about it... but maybe not this year or with this particular amp.

That's pretty sweet, I wonder if the Mustang III would just bolt in there? Of course that would bring your price over $500 total but that's not too bad when you think about it . . . . of course $300 better
