If someone has discovered a way to do this, please set me straight.

Otherwise, here's a feature request that I think would make a lot of people happy: allow effect ordering to be manipulated via the LCD/data wheel.

Perhaps a third screen for each amp which pulls up the effect order display, then pressing the data wheel will select an effect, and rotating the wheel CW/CCW will move the selected effect (or amp) right or left in the chain.

How about it, Fender?

A forum member did develop a utility that allows you to manage the order of your presets as well as make customized libraries that you can easily swap in and out of your amp.

Check out this forum:

Hope that helps.

kartes, thanks for the suggestion; however, what I am referring to/asking for is a means of editing a preset and choosing whether effects are placed in front of or after the amp sim, without having to fire up FUSE on a computer--i.e., directly on the amp (III, IV and V). I believe this is something that is programmable in the firmware; hopefully it will be added one day soon.

Given that a number of key effects are specifically recommended to be used in the 'after amp' position, being able to access those 'rack' effects and to place them in the loop position via the amp screen would be a big plus.

This is currently one of the very few (only ?) functions that aren't achievable without FUSE on the III, IV and V.
