OK so on the video it says you can save presets to your amp and also to your computer, can you save ones you've made on the software to the computer/your account somehow and use them via your Mustang whilst it's plugged into your PC? It implied that you can but when I make a preset it only lets me save them to the amp.

Anyone know if/how you can do this?

I don't think you can do what you are asking about, at least as I understand your question.
You can create presets either by altering things on the amp, or by creating them using the Fuse software from the very beginning. Once they are created, you save them by doing as you noted, picking a preset location on the amp and saving it there.

If you download a preset from the Fuse community, it saves to a folder on your computer. In order to use it, you have to save it to the amp. You can't connect to your computer and play a preset from there.

Anyone know if/how you can do this (click on the down arrow next to the PC or amp icon on the left)?

Did you try this, before clicking on "Save"?

Create your file (must be an MP3, WAV, or Sound file) Using Windows Explorer, open "my documents and settings" find the folder "Fender" open "Fender" then "Fuse" then "audio" then "WaveMP3" Paste the file into this folder ("WaveMP3")You may then select this file under "Band" in the Fuse control panel.

I have only done this with "Sound" files, but according to the literature WAV. and MP3 should work as well.

Good luck,
Steve

To save a preset to computer, first obviously create your preset in fuse, then to save to comp go to main menu, file, save preset as. Now when prompted enter a name for the preset, navigate to the preset directory (or anywhere else you want to save it) in fuse and click save.
if you want to use a preset from the comp not stored on the amp then select the "open" button from fuse menu , open preset and fuse then loads the settings and you just play. If you want another then just "open" another preset from computer.
Hope this helps. :D

Sorry for the misinformation in my earlier post - I just learned something myself.

Hey Guys,

You can also double click a preset that is stored in the Computer tab of the Media Library. That will load the preset in "temporary memory" on the amp and allow you to play it. This way, you don't actually have to save the preset to a slot on the amplifier to play it. If turn the preset knob, however, the preset will be gone.
