Hi
i have a fender mustang 1 amp and i want to record my guitar on a computer so i plug my amp into usb and when im recording with any program (audacity ableton or others )the sound is bad. Im wondering if i must buy sound card becouse i have realtek hd or is there any other way to have a good sounding recording with this card

I've successfully recorded using both Audacity and Sonar LE on Vista 32b with a Realtek HD sound card. (It did sound bad--but because of my playing... :oops: )

What's wrong with your sound? (Not that I'll necessarily be able to help, but if you give more details maybe someone else can chime in as well.)

Glad you figured out it was the speakers. Recording through USB is a direct digital connection and shouldn't sound bad by any means.
