Hey guys, I keep my Mustang V about head height, and its a pain to peer over the top to look at the screen. Will it harm the amp if I use it face-down with the screen facing the front?

I run one of my mustang I's that way, face down and about head height. I only use it with headphones and for recording. Have had this one this way for months and no problems.

I also have a vox ac4 head set up the same way, no issues, ever...

Oh and I had a gdec 30 face down in a rack for months as well, same thing - headphones only, no problems.

That Mustang V has pretty hefty power amp section. I'd be careful to not make it overheat and possible fry some component from the rising heat. With that said, I"m sure it depends on how much you're cranking it.

Thanks for the reply. I won't be cranking it at all. I run it at room level or through headphones.

What about large, heavy capacitors hanging sideways from the PCB? I would hate to break a trace or solder joint.
