If it's something that is so subtle that I have to learn to hear it why should I care?

Well sometimes.. you get really excited about the sound you perceive to hear.... or what....ever you've purchased... .but in this case an amp..... lol.. but then you start playing... and all of a sudden you start hearing some stuff that shouldn't... be there.. so you blame it on whatever.... but then you come to realize.. hey... this really is an "amp" issue.. not "mine"... So where do you go?? You start searching the forums for similar poblem's and you end up here,,, so now what???

I just don't think it's in all units. I don't hear anything like this from mine.

It's perfectly valid for guys who either can't hear it or don't mind it to move on and enjoy the amp. I continue to have a ball with the amp, but am looking forward to that magic day when Fender announces Firmware upgrade X includes "fixes the 'fizz' heard on some amps".

Ok, Fender has been ducking this forever. The time has come to address this fizz that apparently ALL MIII+ amps have.

Now I thought I was fizz-free, until I listened closely to a softly plucked note, and there it was. It's quiet and does not increase with pluck volume, but it's certainly there for the duration of the note. You won't really notice it on a loudly-plucked note, but if I was a jazz player, this would definitely be a dealbreaker.

So before this becomes a class action suit or something, your loyal customers in good faith demand you address this issue and explain what you are doing to fix it, or not. If you plan on continuing to sell defective units, we need to warn our friends and fellow players.

Step up to the plate and play fair. You took our money, now earn it.

"I just don't think it's in all units. I don't hear anything like this from mine."

I swear it almost sounds like string buzz that is being picked up and amplified. I play with a little higher action than most and don't hear anything like this on any of my guitars through my M3.

Maybe someone who is getting can raise the action on a low string ridiculously high to where there is absolutely no fret buzz going on and see if the fizzy is still there.

These people need to

Call Fender

Return it, it is defective. Crying about it on the net isn't helping them.

Already did--twice--as previously mentioned. Would love to buy one again when they find a solution.

Threating to lawyer up on the internet is not going to get a responce. I will warrent no responce. I think you are full of it, and won't lawyer up. But in a world were people call 911 because Mc Donalds runs out of chicken nuggetts, Fender is sure to keep there mouths shut per there legal team.

Now you gotta poney up or look like a duffass.

So poney up instead of whining about it.

My 2 cents.

Sorry if I got the really wrong end of the stick, but is that directed at me? If not, huge apologies.
