If the MI/MII don't have the fizz and some MIII's don't, it can't be because of the limitations of current modeling technology...

Fender lost me on this one. :( I was going to get an MIII, but due to what seems to be a real problem with no real solution, I opted for a Line 6 POD HD300 instead, which works better for my recording purposes than any of my Vox or Fender gear...much quieter with excellent touch dynamics and great amp & effect modelling. For the record, I have a Vox AD60VTX, original Tonelab and a Fender G-DEC 3 Thirty. I love them all for live use, but all are a bit noisy (background noise) when recording.

Just thought Fender should be aware that they lost a customer over the issue.

Hello Fender guys.

I am VERY close friends with somebody who works in the biggest music store in my county. He has listened to my amp and he knows about the issue.

He told me the same day that if Fender doesn't reply about this bug, he promised to inform the store and they will NOT recommend or supply the Mustang line to customers.

He's not the kind of guy to go back on his word. Fender, just cough the hell up or at least post some kind of information as to whether you will sort the issue.

I have spoken.

I was convinced my MIII did NOT have the fizz until I paid closer attention. It is somewhat subtle. I suspect they ALL have it (MIII and above, that is).

Fender is now officially moving into the Jive Zone on this issue by not addressing it here, publicly yet privately, to individual customers, admitting the problem.

In other words, they want to continue selling bad products to gullible customers while privately admitting the products are flawed.

Incredible. I have lost a lot of respect for this company. The corporate bean counters ruling over the product division to the detriment of their loyal customers. After they've spent hundreds of millions over the years building up a solid reputation.

Short term gain. Long term disaster.

Threating to lawyer up on the internet is not going to get a responce. I will warrent no responce. I think you are full of it, and won't lawyer up. But in a world were people call 911 because Mc Donalds runs out of chicken nuggetts, Fender is sure to keep there mouths shut per there legal team.

Now you gotta poney up or look like a duffass.

So poney up instead of whining about it.

My 2 cents.

Man, since Fender started stonewalling on the fizz, this site is really attracting classier and classier clientele!

Also there are quite a few people on The Gear Page forum that don't hear it (as well as many who do) so... I don't think this effects all Mustang III units.

Lessee...if you cut out every 11th word and paste them together...

"Am...held...captive...in...Ghwangdong factory...make...amps...fizz...to...warn...Lassie...to...come...quick...girl!"

Well there you have it. Problem solved. It was Timmy in a Fender work camp after all.

Thing is, I was one of the folks who "couldn't hear it" either until I knew how to find it. I suspect that all the MIII+ fizz.
