I have a Mustang III and so does my son. I can't believe how much time people waste whining and complaining. If your Mustang "fizzes" return and replace it or have it repaired under warranty.

I would highly recommend the Mustang III.

I saw you posted this on the other thread, too. So I also will.

Explain that to the guy on another thread that replaced his amp with the store. FIVE TIMES. Or that Fender WON'T REPLACE THE ONES THAT HAVE THE FIZZ, at least they won't mine. Good for you that you don't have the problem. Good for you.

EDIT: I don't think anyone would be complaining if Fender SAID SOMETHING. At least acknowledged the problem to those that are having the problem.

And again: http://soundcloud.com/user4316001/musta ... range-fizz

No, it's not. If I heard that, I'd have a problem as well. That's a weird sound.

I had actually meant to post this in the "fizz" thread.

All the IIIs+ fizz. Boycott em until they fix it.

It's a quiet fizz heard on soft-plucked notes, that's why guys can't hear it. But it's there alright. Clearly a defect that needs to be addressed.

Be professional. Tell people EXACTLY how to reproduce it. Supply details, recordings, etc. Get fender on the phone. Give facts, don't just complain.

How about a 16 page !!!!! topic with a soundclip in the first post:
Mustang III - Digital Aliasing (Strange Fizz Sound)
Or do you find that's all complaining too?

From all of my reading here, it seems that this is mainly, if not solely, a problem with the IIIs. Are the Mustang IVs having the same problems as the IIIs?

Reproduce:
1. Choose basic clean amp model
2. Play guitar

I've called, as have others. Fender doesn't have an answer and there is no current fix.
