Hi,

I own an old Stage 100H and run it into a Fender DT412 cabinet and love the setup as much as my Rivera Rake into an Avatar 2x12. Both cabinets are 8Ohm. So, a few questions:

1) I want to buy a Mustang V head and run it into the DT412. According to another thread that would be safe for the head, correct?

2) The DT412 had two inputs and I think it runs at 4Ohms with both plugged in. Is the DT-412 a stereo cabinet? Can I plug that Mustang head into it in stereo? I was trying to find this info online but came here for a quick answer.

3) Can I run the Mustang V head into the DT-412 and the Avatar 2x12 if both are 8 Ohm? If so, the Mustang V head has two outputs, should I run one to each cab? Would they be in stereo? If I should not do that, should I "piggy back" the Avatar onto the 412. The Avatar has an input and an output to run with another cabinet. That would make the impedance 16Ohm, wouldn't it?

Anyway, after 27 years of guitar repair and refretting, I still don't remember the do's and don'ts of mismatching impedances, and I'd like to avoid buying another 412 cabinet.

Thanks for any input in advance.

Bob
