I just tried my new mustang I dvd and amp. The dvd does not contain the mustang I advanced manual but instead has the III-V advanced manual PDF. I was able to download the advanced I manual PDF from Fender support. More importantly, installing either ableton or amplitube software on the DVD caused my Windows 7 system to hard crash (had to unplug then plug power before rebooting). This happened each time I tried to install these products. My laptop uses a Bose Soundlink for audio output. My question: is there a conflict between Bose and ableton/amplitube/ASIO software or do these Fender third party products not work in general on Windows 7?

Please advise.

Hi berniefuse,

The third party software is definitely compatible with windows 7. If the software instantly crashes your computer, you may want to contact the respective software companies and get some help.

Does Fender FUSE run properly on your system?

Hi Loren,

So far, the Fuse software seems to work ok. I installed it without issues and have invoked the app a few times but have not yet really used it as I haven't yet connected the Mustang I to the Acer laptop via USB.

Thanks for your help,

Bernie

Hi again Loren,

I retried the installs and this time there was nos trange noise from the DVD and they worked!! I then downloaded latest version of Ableton (V8.2.2 vs. V8.0.9 on DVD) and redeemed licenses for Ableton and Amplitube.

Thanks for your help,
Bernie
