Since the mustang I amp doubles as an audio interface and I can plug the amp in for recording, can I record a bass guitar (without damaging the amp) ? because otherwise all I can record are guitar and vocals (not a major problem, but some bass would be good on some tracks).

if not, how can I get a bass guitar on a track w/o purchasing more stuff?

Hi, samkim94.
Sure you can plug a bass in. Just don't turn it up too loud and you should be fine. You'll have to choose the right preset and edit it for the bass though. I think maybe the Twin playing through the Bassman cab sim might work.

Warning!!! Using as a bass amp WILL void your warranty!
