This is an interesting turn of events. Trying to "Foe" lesbeat is not working. Since the rules of the forum stipulate that you can't ignore forum administrators; well you do the math.

EDIT: Mystery solved. My iPad2 would not update the Foe list. Now that I am on the iMac, lesbeat has been successfully foe'd.

Starving trolls will not fix the fizz; only Fender can do that. But it will make their meaningless blather a bit less annoying.

This is pointless. Deleting my account. Fender has more trolls and little sally bit%&s than musicians and workers. Good luck to everyone that has been helpful. Rot in hell all the trolls.

Outstanding....this meaningless thread is no well on its way to obscurity. Soon this forum will again be able to provide information, hints, and tips that are relevant.

If he doesn't foe you he can see and respond to anything you say. Sticking your non Mustang owning, conspiracy theorist head in the sand still exposes you to the truth.

It's interesting that the two of your have written 30% of this excessive thread!

At least you admit it wasn't meaningless before you came around.

Then how could you turn it into the meaningless thread it should be, if it allready was meaningless?
You're contradicting yourself, but then again that's what trolls do.

Went to GC today in search of an amp. I tried the few Mustangs they had. The II and III sounded fine, the IV had fizz. FWIW they were in different rooms--II and III in one, IV in another.

Loved the sound of the Deluxe Reverb (owned an original for 20 years), and the Super-Sonic, but the noise-floor on those amps isn't really suited to home playing / recording. The Blues Jr. sounded pretty great, but it was tough to tell over the mono speaker blasting Bon Jovi above my head. Hope Fender is able to fix the Mustang series because i would love to buy one again!

The fizz on my MIII is not noticeable when I am playing rhythm, but when doing leads it seems to have gotten worse--it sounds similar to cabinet buzz, except it's at any volume level and the pattern of the sound wave is identical every time.

This leads me to agree with others that it's in the digital processing chain somewhere, and possibly just more noticeable on the 100w MIII's as opposed to the lower wattage MI and MII, or even the 75w x 2 MIV and MV. Or it could be that there are just far more MIII's sold than any other model.

Anyway, if it's a software issue, then we need just be patient. If it's a hardware issue, then one can only hope that Fender will make some provision for those of us who jumped on board early, perhaps an even trade-in for a subsequent model.

If it's a state-of-the-technology issue that can't be resolved, then I'm afraid the Mustang will be relegated to the status of a novelty practice amp which can't be used for professional gigging. That would be a shame.

Indeed. Clejmac, your goal is meaningless and pointless. You make it sound like the fizz threads are the only threads in the forum. They are not. Nor are they in any way keeping you from reading any of the other threads available or starting one or more that deal only with the subjects that interest you. You don't like the subject matter but you continue to post denigrating comments on the thread. This can only mean one thing; That your intent is simply to be disruptive and belligerent because you have absolutely nothing else to contribute. You're being an #*$&^#$ for the sake of being an #*$&^#$ and taking pride in it.

Indeed it is your posts that are meaningless and pointless.

Did you pay $300 for it? And what if it DIDN'T fizz? You'd throw it away, wouldn't you?

Now what if you paid $300 for something that WASN'T supposed to fizz--but did?

Things are supposed to do what they're supposed do. And if they do things they're NOT supposed to do, companies clam up on forums.
