Your posts have no purpose other than whatever gloating sensation you derive over having an amp that you are satisfied with. This is the wrong thread for you. You might want to check in on the thread entitled, "I have nothing of value to say".......

A good laugh is the perfect way to start a day and you have done that for me.

Oh my, at least learn how to quote properly before you get rude and insulting

Just for fact...the tread is turning into material for a moderator thread lock.

Keep it civil please, this is only undermining the credibility of the thread.

I'd like to see this one hit the 50+ pages with meaningful content about the problem...not bitching and ranting between users.

Undermining the credibility of the thread and the credibility of Fender in general is the fact that no one at Fender seems to have the need to address this.

I came up with all sorts of theories like the LCD leaking some sort of low-level electrical current into the power amp etc. and tried to be helpful to determine the cause but if no one listens...

Since, as someone pointed out earlier, Vox is having a similar (if not the identical) issue with their modeling amps, I'm guessing it's an issue having to do with one of the components in the amp required for modeling. It's probably being investigated by the manufacturer of the component, and until Fender receives answers about the cause and the fix (if any), they can't tell us what they intend to do because at the moment they don't have enough information. They don't want to say anything that might be construed as a false promise.

I have faith that we'll hear something, one way or another, soon.

A moderator lock would require an intervention from Fender; something that has been noticeably absent from this thread. The credibility of the thread is established by hard evidence that the amps fizz when they shouldn't. Fender already knows that fact. The demeanor of this thread will add nothing to an established body of evidence.

This thread has gone from asking questions to looking for answers. When no answers are forthcoming, people start to get the feeling that they might get stiffed. People here who experience the fizz come back day after day to hear nothing but silence from Fender. If we all are to believe that the only way to get Fender to correct a production mistake is to civilly wave large flags until they take notice, then the only real option is to find another amp.

Fender either thinks enough about their customers to make an affirmative fix, or they will take their customers for granted and do a quiet fix and move on. The only remaining reason for this thread is to remind Fender that the latter option is unacceptable.

If a guitar amp causes you plight you lead a very shallow and sheltered life.

I gotta say, like a lot of you, I'm disappointed with this fizzing problem.

I tried buying a power conditioner - but it didn't improve the issue for me.

I can no longer return the amp (my fault for not buying from a place with a good return policy) - but I don't want to take it in for repairs until the issue is known and a fix reasonably certain. Until then, at least I can use it as a headphone amp..

Not to be a cynic, but without a known cause, I can see taking it in for warranty service being a massive headache. Being without an amp for weeks or months and wouldn't be surprised to see it returned with the same issue still in place..

<sigh>

If you purport to communicate in a particular language, yet you don't understand the meaning of the words that you choose to reference, then your mentioning leading a shallow and sheltered life must come from long experience.

Google isn't always your friend, but in this case...

Exactly. There is no fix which means there is no repair. I was told to just return mine because the repair center couldn't fix it. If they give you a new amp that could potentially be the same thing over again.

Of course we are all Americans and we all have English as a first language. Geez, some guy on another forum is Italian and posts using Google translate from Italian to English, he's a cool and very helpful guy, he just does not speak/write English very well. clejmac, You have issues man and you should stop being so self centered and arrogant. It serves no purpose what so ever, unless your only goal is killing time by insulting everyone on a forum and look like someone with the maturity of a 10 years old.
