As the old adage goes 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. If you enjoy your tone as is & it fits what you need then that's great. The counter-view is that, with the right amp, a 1x12" can sometimes be 'punchier' than a 2x12". All this is very subjective and down to what each individual likes, the type of music played, volume levels, location, and the other players in the mix. That's why it's great that manufacturers give us such a good choice nowadays to help us find the right amp for each of us.

Having had the MIII for several weeks, I really liked it. But for my needs it lacked the extras I mentioned. If Fender corrected that on a future version I'd be in the market to buy it!

I thank all of you guys for your comments and perspectives. I think, for what I need, and based on the points you've made, I'm going with the MIII. Its what fits the bill now and I will get the 4 button footswitch. Thanks so much! :D
