So, I hadn't played using my amp in about a week. Plugged into it today and did some tweaking before rehearsal. Dang! I cannot remember ever being this satisfied with any of my amps - ever! Yes, some of my old tube amps had some attributes that were superior to the Mustang but only in very subtle ways. Even then, they only managed their superiority when they were very loud. At lower volumes, they were not nearly as satisfying to play at all. Also, I was always trying to get the sounds that I heard in my favorite recordings - with little to no success. The Mustang II gives perhaps not all but certainly most of the sounds that I like. The one sound that still eludes me is one that approximates the mighty Dumble. Still, there may be hope in the form of the Zendrive, Xotic BB Preamp or if I can afford it, the Ethos Overdrive Pedal.
I love my Mustang.

Check out a Vox Tonelab ST for a good Dumble clean and overdrive sound!

I have a Valvetronix AD60VTX that I gig with, as well as the original Tonelab, and both get really wonderful sounds from the Dumble models (Boutique Clean & Boutique Overdrive).

Thanks for the suggestion, bclarke675.
I have a Tonelab ST and have tried its Boutique models. They're ok but still a bit too buzzy on top for my liking and the compression characteristics are not quite right. My other problem with the ST is that its output on the clean models is sooo low and there's no way to boost it. It's especially useless when I go direct with it. Thanks anyway.

I'm glad to hear you are loving your amp, I think I'm going to buy a Mustang 3 very soon!
