AN INTERESTING POSITION: Thousands have downloaded and are enjoying both the Mustangs and the FUSE software - yet in your opinion it's not worth the dollars and effort.

Look in the mirror, perhaps. Or better yet - post your PC hardware and software profile - tell us exactly what is not working and perhaps you will get some help. You say "can not down load the software"; Do you mean you can't "load" the software - or you can't even download it off the internet? The Fender support team is one of the best I have worked with in over 50 years of both software and guitar applications. Give them a chance?

The first question would be: Have you turned off all "spyware or firewalls". Most download failures are due to this one setting. Be aware that the FUSE software is a "Silverlight" program and some versions of spyware don't like what the see with this type of app.

Or, just chuck it in and go back to something you like.

Bo

I'm curious about your method of downloading, lowerbullens. Can you describe your process? Exactly what do you mean when you say "i cannot down load the software"? Is the link not working, does the download start and then fail, did it download but you don't know where it was saved or did it download and you just expected Fuse to be up and running and it's not? Are you on a Mac or a PC? More specific information please or no one will be able to help you.

What version of Windows are you running and how old is the laptop? If you've installed software from a disc onto your computer before, the process should be no different. Run the installer and it should install the drivers as well. Be patient as sometimes it looks like nothing is happening but actually, there is. I don't know if it's the same on Windows but on a Mac it actually runs two installers consecutively but there's a big pause in between installers - a little weird but it works. As for the download stopping, did it say that the download was completed? What's your internet connection like, is it kinda funky?

If it's FUSE you're trying to load from the disc, you should forget it and download it from this site, since it's been upgraded after the disc production. If you can't download it from this site, make sure you've done ALL of your Windows Updates, especially IE 8, .NET updates and Silverlight updates. Also, make sure Adobe Flash Player is up-to-date from the Adobe website.

Hope things smooth out for you!
Bob

Hey Guys,

lowerbullens - I'm sorry you're unable to get the software working. Are you at least able to download the installer? Please give us a call at the number below and we can get you up and running.

Hi lrenteria,

Thanks for your inquiry. Microsoft Silverlight is required for using Fender FUSE on Mac and Windows OSs. Please select to install Silverlight. Then you should be able to get to the Fender FUSE installer. If you encounter more challenges with the installation, please contact us directly for additional support and troubleshooting information.
