Hi,

Yesterday I've bought a Fender Mustang II, and now I wanted to record some of my guitar playing to check out the quality.
But I have a problem, I can't seem to record. (Could it be a problem that I don't have a sound card?)

I've used this webpage as help:
http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... d-playback

And at the Audio Setup, my input channel says:
- Not connected 1
- Not connected 2

But I do have my USB plugged into my computer and amplifier. Is there anyone that could be able to help me with this?

Thanks.

Just to check what you are writing when you say...
"(Could it be a problem that I don't have a sound card?)"
Are you really saying you have a computer without a soundcard?

If you do not have a sound card, it will be unlikely that you can record to your computer.

If you use Windows 7 you need to enable the mustang input device.
This is done in the Windows control panel where you configure your sounddevices.
Go to the inputs tab and first rightclick and select "show disabled devices" then you will see the mustang interface and you can enable it.

I've done that, but I still have the same problem with the input channel.

Then try the more obvious like:
-> don't use a USB hub
-> use another USB port
-> use another USB cable

Hey Guys,

Artificial - You didn't mention anything regarding ASIO. Do you have the Fender ASIO driver installed? 9 out of 10 of the audio issues I see here are related to ASIO driver setup.

Also, how are you planning to monitor playback if you don't have a soundcard?
