I have been looking for good deals on the Mustang amps. I do not know why I get crazed but I now have the 2 and 3 and just found a 4 for sale I own it. I will not have it for a couple of days till my friend brings it. He just bought the 5. I am getting ahead of my self. My Question is I have fuse installed on my lap top and it is working good. I have had time to learn most of what I need. When I plug in the USB cable will it recognize the Mustang 4. Or will I need to re install. I have not tried the M2 it is still in the box. I have used the fuse with the M3 only. Regards Horton

Hi Horton,
You shouldn't have to do anything at all. I had the M1 and sold it to get the M2. Fuse recognized the M2 immediately. Unless there's something drastically different about the other models, you shouldn't have to do anything. So... you're looking to own all five models, I see... didn't know these Mustang things were habit forming. I'd better watch myself or I might have to go to an MHA (Mustang Hoarders Anonymous) meeting

I hope your right the last time I loaded fuse I had to go to a hotel lobby to get hot internet. I could have completed it at home but the file timed out once. I might have to do a fender anonymous 4 telecasters and just ordered a new USA Nashville b bender black today. I have the Sunburst had to have the black. Might have combine the meeting with the e bay group meetings I am in. Regards Horton.

After seeing numerous youtube videos of various levels of mustang amps I finally went out and demoed one for the first time today. It was a mustang ii and I was very impressed. It not only sounded good but it was also very responsive. I only tested for a few minutes - just the presets - and I was hooked. It makes my line 6 spider iii sound mediocre. The spider iii going on craigslist today. The minute it sells I'm getting a mustang.

Thanks for the offer but I'm thinking I'll get the mustang i. I demoed the mustang ii because that was the only mustang in stock.

Somewhat off topic but maybe worth mentioning. I used and squire affinity strat while checking out the amp and was surprised that it was actually a decent guitar.

I worked building a house years ago. And as far as play it was a drinking party. I was in a band in the late 70's But carpenter work took over and no time to play the guitar. Now semi retired and so I am practicing as much as I can. Still have a couple of jobs going. Guitar is a great hobby. Horton
