Honestly, the WAH feature is the only thing about the Mustang III that doesn’t live up. I’ve played with it time and time again then just gave up and added a Crybaby, which sounds amazing after trying to get the WAH feature to sound good.

The key to getting a decent wah sound on the Mustang amps is dynamics. The louder the signal going to the wah, the better it will sound.

try setting the sensivity to 10 and the Q to 10 and play on your lead lick up and just pick a bit harder and it work pretty good.

I get some great wah sounds. You have to experiment with the gain stages and pre/post insertion. I had someone compliment my wah sound on a gig the other night. It works better on some amps than others.

Also do you use the tap/tempo button to effect any of its settings?

So, Vintagevibe, how about sharing your Wah sound Preset in detail
and help to clear up this Threads angst ?.
