It's inexpensive enough to replace the amp. Now here's mine w/ the added speaker jack, it's also a NC jack so it cuts the internal speaker and drives whatever you plug in. On a side note, my friend also ordered a Warehouse speaker, he's pretty happy with it, but it's not for a Mustang amp.

Yeah, I've already got the jack for it. I was thinking of doing it earlier...trying to do it in a way that wouldn't permanently alter the amp. But the back is in there really tight! I don't think I can get it off without some coercion that will likely leave a mark! So I guess I'll just have to commit to it and drill the hole!

The Warehouse speakers are great speakers! I'm contemplating getting a couple more to either replace the greenbacks in my 2x12, or else getting/building a second 2x12 cab for them...not decided on which models, though. And if they'd ever get their 8" back in stock, I'd consider putting it in the Mustang.

It's just the tolex adhesive, just have to use someting thin and get on both bottom corners and work it. Take a snapshot of the power jack wires so you know where they go back.

Was all this discussion for a Mustang 1? What are they, $99? I think it's worth the risk of voiding the warranty!
