Hi all,

I got finally all working, the recording go pretty well and the quality is good...except the noise that appear after few minutes, sometime 5 sometimes 15 minutes. The only way to stop that noise is to turn off the amp power. Ableton continue to play ( even no sound ) and after turning power back on .....all is fine.sound is good and record quality aswell.
weird.

Maybe some1 got that fixed, and can post here a solution. ty in advance

HAND
ROCK ON !

I get a scratchy sound after a while and find that if I bring up the ASIO driver settings window and just click O.K. it clears.

That's not good at all, in a recording situation you have to be confident about the equipment you're using and be able to rely on it.
I can see it now, you're playing the best solo in your life but it turns out the only thing recorded is scratch noise...

Hey Guys,

To me that sounds like either some buffer settings are too low or maybe some background processes on your system are running. It's also important to remember that in order to get the best performance out of your recording setup, you pretty much need to treat your computer as if recording is it's only duty. I know that we're dealing mostly in the prosumer realm here so dedicated audio computers aren't always possible. However, take a look at the KB article below. It was written for Windows XP, but some of the same things still apply to Vista or 7.

It's not clear what you did to resolve the issue.

I took it to mean the bolded part above was the solution. (Hopefully he will be along to set us straight otherwise.)
