Hi all, I have a Mustang 1 and 3. I have hooked them up and used Fuse and stuff and works great, my question is, I read that the mustang's can be used as an interface to record onto Live that comes with the amps. If this is true has anybody got this to work? I have tried it though live and cakewalk and cant get them to even see the amp there as an input device.

Yep, i got it to work.
There are a few major problems with it.
The biggest of them is the USB interface is one way, meaning sound is only send to but not received from the computer.
This is confusing for a lot of people and means you got to use an other interface for monitoring.
This raises so many issues you might wanna forget about it all together.
For example it's impossible to do direct monitoring (bypassing your comp) resulting in noticable latency when you monitor via your DAW and another interface.
Most devices now adays support some sort of direct monitoring letting you mix the returning signal form your comp with the direct signal on the device when plugging a headphone in the device.
All in all, allthough i got it to work, i find it to much of a hassle to set it up and now i'm using a tascam US-144 with the headphone out from the Mustang plugged in it.
Not much of help for you but i thought i let you know anyway.

Thanks, yeah that helps. If it's that much of a hassle then I prob will not use it that way, I have a Lexicon interface but when I start adding outside line effects I get a real latency problem and was just seeing if I could solve that by running the amp as a interface.
