Hi everybody. I will buy a footswitch. But I have a question. I will use the footswitch on my Mustang I. Should I use the Fender's footswitch or can I use the other footswitch models? If I can, which one is compatible with Fender Mustang I amplifier ?

Couldn't get a Fender single-button footswitch anywhere here in Australia, so I'm using a BOSS FS-5L single button footswitch to change presets on my Mustang II - works fine.

Well, I guess I hit a nerve !

Hopefully some Australian Fender dealers are also listening in, and will pass that information on to their customers when they get enquiries about the footswitches - all I got, both in person and online, was 'don't know'.

As I already said above, I use a single button BOSS footswitch switch on my Mustang II; it would work fine on a Mustang I, as I think would any basic on/off type single button switch, if you can't find a Fender one.
