I am totally new to using software in conjunction with amps and recording. The most recording experience I've had is playing out of a practice amp and using a voice memos app from my ipod. I was wondering, can I and how do I change the pedal that comes with the mustang 3 to change something else such as distortion? Are there any good tutorial videos on how to change presets for Fuse and the amp? How do I connect my ipod to the amp? Any help would be very useful, thank you. :?:

The utility menu on the amp will let you choose the 2 button foot switch function, including controlling effects.

I'm not aware of any, but once you start FUSE and connect to the amp it is pretty straightforward, you can just start twirling the knobs. (How to make them sound good is a different question...) :)

If I connect my computer's headphone output to the amp's aux in and use it as the computer speaker, I can play along with music, etc. I see no reason this shouldn't work with any audio source.

You can connect your iPod or any other source with a headphone jack or a line output.
