Everything I try does not work when trying to load a preset into Fuse. The "help" vids are useless. I select the preset I have downloaded into the Fender folder, and nothing happens. I've clicked on every button that makes sense without success. I am logged in and have the USB plugged into the amp. Help.

Also, is there a way to duplicate an amp setting and save it to a different location?

Is the preset showing up in the Media Libary in fuse? If so double click on the preset you want that should load it into the preset window in the upper left corner of Fuse. If it is not in the libary then hit the open key the the preset window to copy the preset into the libary. you can hilight and open more than one preset to bring them into the libary by using the shift or ctrl key hope this helps

Which amp do you have? On the MIII it is easy to save a preset in another location:

1. Find the patch you want to save.
2. Make any adjustment to it so that the red SAVE button lights up.
3. Press SAVE; it'll ask you where you want to save it; just spin the wheel and save it at a different preset location by pressing the SAVE button once more.

Example: You like preset 74, but want it saved in preset 00. Go to preset 74, make any change (and change it back to the original setting if you want), the red SAVE button lights up, press the SAVE button, it'll ask if you want to save it at preset 74. Spin the data wheel until it says preset 00, then press SAVE again. That preset is now saved at 00.

I found it really simple to add new presets, here is what I did step by step using my Mustang III:

For Downloaded Presets

1. Connect Amp to Computer
2. Load up Fuse Software
3. Download Presets from Fender Web Page
4. I saved the presets to my desktop to find them easily
5. Load the Preset into Fuse
6. On the right side of the Fuse program there is a Media Library button, press it
7. Now you have all the Presets in your Library available to you
8. Select the Preset you want to load into your amp, right click it
9. It should have an option in that menu to send the preset to your amp

When you click that option you will be prompted to select what preset you want to replace, you can select from 00 to 99 This will replace the preset you have in that location currently.

Saving a Preset you Created

1. Connect Amp to Computer
2. Load up Fuse Software
3. Design your preset in the Fuse software
4. In the main menu, select save preset as
5. Save the preset with what ever name you desire

Any preset that you create and save will automatically be put into your media library and is installed on the amp in the same fashion as above. Hopefully this helps you.

I think you also need to UNLOCK the saving function in the utilities menu (UTIL) from the Mustang III front panel, else you cannot save changes on the Amp. At least, that's what I had to do ...
