a) Can you plug any version of the Mustang amp into a "Power Amp" jack such as found on Hot Rod series amps?

b) Can you plug any version of the Mustang amp into an audio mixer's Line In and or Tape In? (I kinda think you can)

What would be really neat would be a Fender Rackmount version of this amp with all the same bells and whistles as the V.

IMHO, Fender should have a versatile rackmount product line like this that might attract the users of other amps by Fender and other brands, can also use DI into a mixer, a computer or a traditional amp.
Because of consumer's amp/speaker tastes, and because floor space is oftentimes a premium and because of home recording trends, I think a rackmount or rackmountable variation would broaden the market potential for the Cyber/Gdec/Mustang type of products.

For me, the ultimate DSP product would have these features:
1) a rackmount variation
2) can plug into any amp, live, studio, digital mixer and/or computer
3) headphone with a very powerful headphone amp with it's own stereo blend pot
4) model any solid state or tube amp
5) model any speaker, speaker size and condition (new, good used, well used condition)
6) model any tube compliment
7) model any solid state or tube type microphone

As near as I can tell, the best possible solution to meet this end, is to develop software in collaboration with sound card manufacturers such as Creative's Soundblaster and e-mu
as well as others who produce a product conforming to audio/recording specific standards. ie ASIO etc.
Really, software interface that can modulate all the perameters of soundcard's audio production capabilities. A box that include the necessary I/Os and maybe 5-10 pedal jacks, and several signal modulating pedals - ala for Wah, vol, tremolo/vibrato.
the constant simple Off/On thing is so outdated I am surprised traditional pedal
manufacturers haven't incorporated pots into products like a tremolo where you can gradually adjust the effect in real time with your foot like you would a wah.
Just imagine a row of wah or vol pedals sitting in front of you and you get the picture.
