It comes with the USB cable. They should have given it to you, floor model or not.

Glad you got it straightened out. I too bought my MIII at GC, and I had them open it so I could try it first. I also got 10% off, which brought it down to $269.99. :D

I hope you got the Fender Fuse Software CD too! Fuse is a great tool for tweaking things and jamming with band tracks. along with being a member of the Fuse Community. That gives you access to more presets and tracks along with firmware updates. Very Important

According to GC the M1 only comes with the CD which is all I got (let me know if I'm wrong). I did find that the usb cable from one of my cameras (a Fujifilm digital) works fine.

Hello,

If you are missing your cd, you should be able to contact Fender (TSL@Fender.com) and request a CD.

I bought a Mustang 2 last month and my CD (DVD actually) was missing. I contacted Loren at Feder and he sent me one straight away. The FUSE software actually DOES NOT come on the CD, you can download it directly from Fender's site. It does however contain the start-up vides and the Abelton and Amplitube software (which you might want).

Hello again,

Any standard mini-USB cable should work with the amp. I ran into some issues though trying to flash firmware with a PC that has older USB ports (would recommend that you have USB 2.0) ...

No, the MI also comes with a cable...all the Mustang models do. If you've got one already, it may not be worth going back to GC, unless you do for the principal of it! But both of the MI's I got came with the cable, and it was also mentioned in one of the promotional videos when they go over the "goodies" that come with the amp.
