Back in the day I used a Marshall Guitar head with an SVT cabinet and I got to thinking.

I just tried the M5 with a 15" workingman cabinet and with the right presets it sounds pretty darn good. Actually sounded better than it did plugged into my other cab which has two ten inch speakers.

QUESTION:
Is this safe? Is this head ok for that? The ohmage matches ok.

thanks
Talbot

Hey Talbot,

The Mustang cab wasn't designed with bass frequencies in mind. You can actually void your warranty using it as a bass amp.

It's the head I'm actually asking about. I've got a bass cabinet for it to drive.

Can it hurt the head?
Does that void the Warrenty?

thanks
Talbot
