true, it doesn't have every feature included with Fuse. But if you're looking to interface with your Fender amp using a tablet, it appears to be the only option at this time.

Not quite, you can run FUSE on a Windows 8 tablet. I used to do that before I switched to a Mustang III. It's quite usable for switching effects and stuff, although moving the "wheels" for the parameters with a finger on a touchscreen took a little practice.
Strings10927 was likely basing his reply on an iPad (as was the origin of this thread) or Android.

If that's the case (and he didn't say it was) he should have been more specific.

ChrisH1, as far as I know, you are the one and only person to ever state on this forum that you have successfully run Fender FUSE on a Windows tablet. In fact you might be the only person on the forum who actually bought one.

If you look at the installers on the FUSE website, there is an installer for PC and for MAC. That's it, kid. Nothing about tablets. And as much as you might wish it to be, your Windows 8 tablet is not what is generally referred to as a 'personal computer'.

So all we have to go by is one dude on the forum who said it ran on his Windows 8 tablet. And that's new information to me. :::shrug:::

Maybe. So?

Again, so? I just used the installer for PC. The software doesn't even know it's running on a tablet or a touchscreen laptop.

I don't "wish it to be" anything. It's a 99 EUR cheap piece of $@!& (specifically, a HP Stream 7) I bought only for running FUSE on it. And it runs the same Windows 8.1 as any desktop PC.

So which is it, are you calling yourself uninformed or me a liar? Do you want pictures?

if missing a single post (which doesn't come from a proven or particularly credible source) on the entire fender forum makes me uninformed ...  Give it a rest, bro.

No, but missing an entire device category that's been on the market for over two years and then trying to come across as a tablet expert does.

(not connected to my amp because I don't know where that stupid USB OTG cable is at)

listen little guy, I did not miss anything. Fuse was not proven to run on ANY tablet until people started taking the task into their own hands. The question is not whether Windows Tablets exist, it is whether FUSE can display properly on that little postage stamp of a screen. Now shut up and sit down.

Per Google Translate:

Activate Windows

Change the PC settings to activate Windows

Did you just confess to running an unlicensed copy of a Microsoft operating system since at least January of this year? Complete with a photo to prove it?

You mean by buying a tablet, downloading FUSE and double-clicking the installer? Yeah, that was really hard.

And the answer is: Yes, it can. And there are even tablets with bigger screens, you know.

Yeah, yeah. Maybe you better go back to trolling apple users, that's clearly more your level of expertise.

Call the FBI! Oh wait, unactivated somehow is not the same as unlicensed.

Warning, technical explanation that might make your head explode:
I hadn't switched it on for months and it hasn't contacted the KMS server yet.

Now go away. I was just trying to be helpful here, I don't know why you act that pissed off all of a sudden.

because of your douchy attitude. :D

People don't generally leave their Windows unactivated as it disables features. That is unless they do not have a valid license.
