Okay, that takes care of my M V head and 4x12 cabinet, but now what about my M II? That's the one I drag around the most.

CR, On earlier posts when the Mustangs first came out a few people said that a Blues Jr. cover fit real good. Sweetwater has them but don't look under fender it's in the main amp cover listing. I think Musician friend gives the amp dimensions to compare. I think the MII is about 1" taller.
Remember back in the day when you bought a new guitar or amp and the case or cover was included no charge. Yea I know and gas was a quarter

I would like to know how everyone likes the amp covers you found
from sweetwater.com? There are certainly the right price!

I can't make one for $20. They are a fairly heavy black canvas type of material with the Fender logo, and very professionally done. The seams are reinforced. I really plan on using mine more as a dust cover than anything. If I was gonna take my M4 out to play regularly, I'd get a better amp case for it. For what I plan on using it the cover will work out just fine for me.

I was going to have one made until I found them at Sweetwater. You might be able to make one cheaper but it won't be better. After my G-Dec developed problems that I think may be due to dust getting into the pots I didn't want to leave my new Mustang IV uncovered for very long. And a Fender cover for 20 bucks can't be beat. There is no cover that is actually built for the road. You need a Case for that. This Fabric cover will outlast most vinyl covers too.

Just put a Princeton 112 cover on my Mustang II - fits pretty well all round, about an inch too short but I can live with that ! Cost about $15US, an official Fender product, in vinyl with logo.

Also added a right angle mini USB connection, gaffered to the amp so I don't have to keep using the connector on the amp itself, to try and avoid the problem reported by people on this forum about the connector disappearing inside the amp and making a connection to FUSE impossible.

I got the covers for my MV and Cab. They are perfect. Totally worth the money. Good strong material and well made.

Excellent cover for basic protection against dust, etc. Well made and a great price.
Fits great - although not with the power cord attached. Tried it with a right-angle power cord and it fits great.
I agree that for regular work, you'd want to invest in a travel case.
You don't just use gig bags for your guitars.

Highly recommended accessory
