Ive got a digitech whammy and a bad horsie 2 wah pedal... would it be better to connect them through the fx loop in the back or just go guitar>pedals>amp?
I realize both will probably work but wondering if you guys had any preferences. I know I can try both and see what I think, but I am asking what you all prefer

I powered my Ibanez WH-10 before my Mustang I with good results. Try it in each position and see if you have a preference.

Yeah I would say the pedals I have work a little better going ahead of the amp. If I put them through the effect loop I do get a pretty crazy wah out of it, a lot harder to control than ahead of it... I would assume effects that change tone or pitch like a wah pedal will do better before the amp, and the more stationary effects like distortion/reverb type pedals would work well in the loop?....
anyone have some good examples on how they are set up?...
I only have the two pedals, im going to leave them ahead of the amp in the chain and worry about the effect loop when I get different pedals....
