I think I have the tracks loaded right. They play with the controls in Fuse, But how do I get them back to the amp so I can use headphones from the amp. Next ? is how do I record? I was hoping to be able to do in Fuse but I guess not. Am I missing something? Do I need to have Fuse running and ambelton too? My goal is to be able to do all this stuff without bugging my wife as I play in the living and she's watching tv. Do I need to patch the computer to headphones with a splitter or what? Plus a layman's guide to ambelton would be nice or maybe another forum topic. I used to think I was half way smart but the first time I fired up Ambelton I felt pretty dumb.

Because the band tracks play back through the computer, not the amp, if you want to listen to both without disturbing others yI assume ou will need to find some way of directing both the output of the amp and the output of the computer's sound system to a single set of headphones - makes for some fairly complicated connections ! Maybe a small mixer would do the trick ?

As I noted earlier on the FUSE forum, there a clearly a lot of Mustang buyers who are relatively new to computer based recording, and who would appreciate a bit more step by step help from Fender on the actual use of the software that they choose to bundle with their Fender Mustang amps - especially Ableton.

I was thinking about a cord from computer headphone jack to mustang IV aux in. Do you think that's the best way.

Need to be a little careful of creating loops/feeding signals back to where they started - can have unwanted outcomes - feedback etc ?

Maybe someone a bit smarter than me can advise if this is safe ?

I plugged a mp3 cord from the computer headphone jack to the Mustang Aux In. Used the Volume control for the computer Fuse to run the Band Track and headphones plugged in to the Mustang. Perfect!!! 8) Jammed away to "slow_6 blues in a" I downloaded from Fuse online for 30min. :D I was in heaven and I didn't bother my wife at all. Loaded the rest of the tracks I had to the fuse libary from the computer. And Jammed some more. The only thing I've noticed is it's hard to tell a track from a preset in the folder I downloaded them to initially. Next time I will use two folders. Now to figure out recording :?:
