Hey. I`m using windows 7 utlimate, and I`ve got a problem with recording my guitar by Mustang I.
It looks like Ableton software doesn`t see amp as audio device. How can I repair it?

I`m from Poland, so sorry for mistakes in english.

Hi Parzysz,

Take a look at this KB article. Do you have the Fender Universal ASIO driver installed?

I have the same problem. I have the Fender Universal ASIO driver installed, but Windows 7 don’t see Mustang as audio device.
I use Adobe Audition. Audition don’t see Mustang.
Ableton don't see Mustang too.
I haven’t this problem with another audio interfaces (for ex. Line6 guitar port).

Hmmm .. there's a small part of me that is glad I'm not the only having this problem but I wish I didn't have this problem. Oh Fender Gods, hear my wailing and gnashing of teeth!

May have found the answer on another thread:

"If you have Realtek on-board sound you're outa luck too ... it's not ASIO compatible."

If it's a desktop computer, try disabling the onboard audio and installing a sound card, like a SoundBlaster Audigy. It'll speed up everything online as well as allow recording interface.

Thanks for the tip. I was researching stand alone computers to do recording and nothing but recording ... looks like even 4 year old PCs and Apples are well equipped enough to handle 8 track recording in Ableton.
