Hey SGSonic01,

Your best bet is to save every preset that you want to use in order. You can do this either using FUSE or the amp itself, as PITA mentioned. You will of course have to overwrite the existing presets in those locations. Chances are, there are some presets you don't like and will never use. Go through the amp and fine those unwanted presets. Then you'll know where to save the current 1-9 presets you may not want to get rid of.

Thanks for the reply - I guess being a newbie its a bit difficult trying to explain what I am trying to do. I already have my 3 presets saved- 7 , 62 and 90 to each QA slot but in order to be able to access say my favourite 9 easily lets say for example I wanted to use the above ones plus presets 43, 6 , 61, 78, 14 and 23. Can I simply renumber them using FUSE so that my complete set of all 9 favourite presets are numbered 1 to 9 and then save the middle one to each QA slot i.e. preset 2 to QA1 , preset 5 to QA2 and preset 8 to QA3?

Yes...

I could then use the 2 button in up down mode to access my presets either side thus covering all 9 fairly easily in a Live situation.

...and yes...

Truth is I haven'y used FUSE at all yet so am very wary about making changes when I don't understand the impact of doing so.

...you can always perform a factory reset to start from the beginning, if you prefer the Fender-supplied presets instead of your own creations. (However, one downside is that they will also revert to the original order. FUSE will enable you to save individual presets on your PC, then you can write them back to the amplifier in whatever order you please.)

Is what I am suggesting above doable?

Yes...

Does renumbering the presets overwrite those that are currently numbered 1 to 9 so in effect meaning I lose them?

...and yes--but again, you can use FUSE to make a (temporary or permanent) copy of any preset on your computer, and later copy it back to the amp in whichever position you choose.

Or, as Loren suggested, find some presets that you can't stand and overwrite those with the ones you like most.

Hope this makes sense!

Hope my replies make sense too!
