Sweetwater.com has the 4 button switch for the Mustang III in stock for $39.99 with free shipping. I just ordered one... :D :D

UPDATE: I just received an email from Sweetwater confirming shipment of my 4 button switch. Sweetwater is shipping for free using Fedex. The tracking number was included in the email.

FYI: Musician's Friend still indicates a 4/23 date before they get the switch. Why wait when Sweetwater has it now and at a much lower price?

I don't work for Sweetwater, just passing along some info for Mustang owners....

Just cancelled my order with Musician's Friend and placed an order with Sweetwater. Seems odd though that they all of a sudden have them when no one else does and they are offering them for $20 less. :?

Hope I didn't just do something stupid ;)

Saw the post that Sweetwater had it. Placed my order 10 minutes ago. Phone just rang and it was Sweetwater confirming and saying they would get it out today and I'll have by Friday. Great service!

I ordered my 4 button switch from Sweetwater yesterday. And they shipped today 3/8/11. This afternoon Cory from Sweetwater called and thanked me for my order. Now I have been buying on line for years and some sellers are hard to get in touch with. Cory at Sweetwater has over 10 instock. No tax and free shipping what a deal. Sent tracking number also. If you looking to get a 4 button for a Mustang go with Sweetwater. Horton

Mine was waiting at the door when I got home today. A day EARLY!!!!!! I paid extra for the FedX shipment.

So now to figure how I want to set them both up.

Thanks for the heads up Larry, first time I dealt with Sweetwater, won't be the last.

Update, just one 30 minute session with it and the two button in tandem. A MUST, if you got a III get the four button.

Pita have you tried to record with your amp. I have not downloaded the program yet. I did get fuse to work well it is very nice. I have read all in support and the dvd has a good section. My playing is not so good but knowing this amp can do all that I might give it a try. I have mustang III. Horton

Yes, but...

I have been using Audacity (crudely) for a while now, via my previous amps' headphone jacks, then more recently with SONAR LE (bundled with my ME-25).

It turns out that the the Mustang's USB connection plays quite nicely with these two.

Since my current PC is old and pokey, I don't relish the prospect of installing yet another piece of software on it so I haven't tried the Mustang's bundled software yet; maybe this is the excuse I need to upgrade to a new PC so I can add all the bells and whistles to it instead.

Ha! No kidding! I was excited for about 5 minutes with my ME-25, then later with the Mustang (I went for the III as well), until I realized that my guitar playing still blows chunks and what I need is 1000s more hours of dedicated practice.

It's much more fun to twiddle the knobs on the Mustang and see what happens.

Received my 4 button footswitch today from Sweetwater. The free shipping took 4 days to reach me. Musicians Friend still has an estimated arrival date of April 23rd for $59.00. Get yours at Sweetwater before they run out...

I got a 4 button footswitch with my Mustang IV, but I wanted a 2 button also. The local music store I got my amp from didn't have one in stock when I got my amp last week. Sweetwater didn't have one online, so I called and it turned out that they had 11. Mine shipped Friday and will be here on Tuesday, $24.99 and free shipping.

I wished Sweetwater had everything I wanted, I would much rather do business with them than MF.

Just received my 4 button switch from Sweetwater yesterday. Ordered on the 8th and it arrived on the 12th.

Musician's Friend has definitely dropped the ball on this one.

Sweetwater has a large stock some of which is not on their website. They also have the biggest catalog in the business. Their "gear encyclopedia" published 4 times a year is 500 pages. Compare that to Musicians Friend, AMS, or Zzounds catalogs.
