Decided I should start an new thread about this so I am reposting from a different unrelated thread:

I recently bought the Mustang IV and am mostly enjoying the sound except for one huge issue and one small issue.

Small.... I hear the slight amount of distortion coming in at trail ends of signal, like a slight overdrive pedal that kicks in in the background as a chord rings out.. I see that from the forums Fender is planning to resolve this issue... It is not the biggest deal though not characteristic of any real non modeled amp.

Huge! Huge!! even with the master at 4, when I play certain notes the grill and combo rattle, fart out and fizz from either the speaker mounting or something... This is extremely annoying and any fixes or suggestions would be appreciated... It is certain frequencies, for instance a F# minor seventh bar off of the 9nth fret, always cause certain notes to fizz with the vibration of the grill cloth and other parts of the amp... and this isn't even at gig volumes, ... which is the reason for getting the 150 watt combo, to be able to play at gig volume with headroom to spare... this is at master at 3-4, don't even get me started on master at 10 which might be necessary at some gigs...... So... anyone know of any fixes? Thanks...

Read my post:(Mustang V User Review),the person says at the end of his review that there is a problem with the way the speakers are mounted in the mustang combo amps.
