I have a mustang on order it is going to be at my house soon. I have read the owners manual on line. I am just trying to read up on the amp before it gets here. I see there are per set delays. 150 ms is one of them can I adjust to 135ms one repeat. I intend to use the fuse software sometime. But if the delay can be adjusted fill me in. Regards Horton

Definately. There are 9 flavors of delay. Mono Delay, for example, has these controls in Fuse: LEVEL, DLY TIME, FDBACK, BRIGHT, ATTNUAT.

On Mustang I and II you can also adjust delay time by hitting 'TAP' button on amp and delay/reverb level by pressing and holding 'EXIT' button and turning DLY/REV knob.

The Fender devs. said they are working on a Fuse update to have "keyboard" combinations.. so the increments work exact. As it is right now, getting from 130 to exactly 135 is a bit tedius.. but you probably will get achieve it ..just takes a while with the "mouse" ... but the [Tap] function may do it... I just haven't read how much each tap moves thr signal ... -/+

Thanks for the info after I posted I realized I did not say it is a mustang 3. I am just checked on the tracking and it will be here tomorrow. It came from GA and I am in WA. It was one of two one E bay that had make offer. I offered 250.00 and they countered with 272.00 I accepted. No sales tax I think it is a good buy. We only have a small music store in town and there 300.00+8.1 tax. I have bought fender amps from our local store and one did not work at all. They said it was for display only and the salesman did not know. I think is is a dsp25. I returned it and got a dsp25 that had a rattle. Now the same rattle comes and goes in the new amp. It is all going to work out I have the warranted. Cleaned out my laptop and Heck I think I will call in to work and say there is something wrong with my eye. I can see coming in. Thanks again Horton

UPS was early and I had the day off this is one fancy amp. I did take my lap top and tried to install fuse. Well I am doing something wrong I will get help tomorrow. I have sattelite internet and the speed is54.0 mbps. The download said 2.5 hours does this sound right?
I found several setting I like. With the foot switch can one jump more than one setting. Like from #5 to #64. Regards Horton

Nice eh ... congrats! .... its 300+ Mb file, check your speed, type in 'speed test' as certain times the day speeds drop with congested network(s), limits are bandwidth, but I'm only on 5 Mbps and it took around 20 minutes, but when the networks congested, it could take around 6 hrs.... anyhow... yeah, you can program the pedal for both #5 and #64, check your manual or grab the longer edition PDF from Fender;s website. Good luck.

Now I do have to go to work today for a little while. I think I have downloaded all the info I can fine on the mustang 3 amp. But to jump with the peddle it will take fuse. If you have time later and check back in can I call you. I do not think I need to call the rep. I am close to getting it to download. Horton 509-682-8293

No, I don't have a MIII, I have the MII, but I know you can program the MIII pedal for those two positions, its just common sense. Check the PDF manual later, I believe you dont even need to run Fuse, since you have the LCD display panel built-in.

The preset and foot switch functions can be set directly on the amp itself via the utility menu.

There are 3 quick access presets that you can configure. Punch the "Util" button once, and you will see #1, use the dial to choose this quick access preset. Punch "Util" again, and dial up your second quick access preset. Punch "Util" again and you will find #3--but the 2-button foot switch cannot get to this one, it can only warp between #1 and #2; you'll need the 4-button foot switch for all 3.

Now, press "Util" one more time, and you can choose the 2-button foot switch mode:
Down/Up
QA1/QA2
Stomp/Mod
Stomp/Delay
Stomp/Reverb
Stomp/Tap

Press "Exit" when done.

Enjoy!

Thanks PITA I got the fuse to work and have had a great day with the mustang 3. It is so cool I did change and reset a couple of the per sets. It is late but I am going to try the foot switch I know exactly what the procedures are. I did find out if someone is going to download fuse to get to a hot spot or good ethernet. That is what I did A hotel has (Hizute) Internet and the download was under 5 mins. When I was on fuse and the amp was shown I lodged into the fuse community and surfed around for band tracks ect. I was not able to go back to the amp had to close everything and re boot. It is ok if that is how it works.
