Sorry if this is old news to you but it was like stumbling on a gold mine for me...

Before I got my Mustang, my practice amp was one of the original GDEC's that used MIDI files for backing tracks and didn't use FUSE so I'm a bit behind the times.

After getting the Mustang, I D/L a few of the band tracks from within FUSE but, for now it's slim pickings with only a few hundred available and not all to my taste.

I found that if you put MP3 or WAV files in the following directory (on XP):

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\Fender\FUSE\Audio\WaveMP3\

Then they become available to FUSE to use as a band track and you can assign a band track/amp settings combo as a preset and save it.

The first thing I did was make a few of my own band tracks. But then I found this site: http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/

They have thousands of them for FREE!

The difference is that most of the ones you get from Fender are loopable (as are the ones I made) and these are full length songs with a count at the beginning. I like the "Jamtracks" best my self because they're generic jammers to improvise over. But the majority are songs listed by artist from AC/DC to ZZ Top.

Anyway, if you didn't know this before, you have now hit the mother load.

dude

Yeah, that's a great site to get backing tracks from. I've hit the Jamtracks page quite a bit myself.
