Not the best computer person is the world but is it possible to be able to make adjustments to a preset by playing on my guitar live. If so how do I do it?

Also what do I need to connect guitar to the recording software as far as cables?

This may have been addressed but search did not find.

thanks

hm..it should be in the manual, and depends on what you have, is it mustang I/II (no LCD display) or Mustang III/IV/V with LCD display.
there's a big difference between those two.

Mustange II and I have looked an can not find anything on connecting to computer. Manuals are not the best in the work. Written almost like you are familar with the system.

A cable (My Mustang 3 came with one) will plug into the hole called 'USB' on your amp, the other end of the cable will plug into a hole on your PC. Once it is plugged in on both sides, install the FUSE software. You can then modify you amp. You can do this in real time from the computer if you'd like. It's quite advanced. It will be overwhelming so look at all the presets to see how they were done to give you an idea on how to edit your own.

There should be a USB cable that came with the AMP. Plug one end into the USB port on your computer and the other end into the port labeled USB on the AMP. That will get your computer connected. You can edit presets on the amp with the knobs or using the Fuse software from the computer.

Here is the Fender Support page for the Mustang Amps. There is a LOT of info there...

Thank you very much. Can I make my own presets or change one and save while playing my guitar into the computer?

Yep. You can do it all in real time with FUSE. It's very very cool and a huge step beyond what anyone else has done as far as I know.
