Hi, maybe someone can help. I just bought a new Mustang IV amp. I can't get the Fuse to see the amp. I have completed all the registrations, entered all the codes and no amp connected is all I get. I verified that I have the right OS ( Windows XP SP3 ). I can log in to the community and download tracks. The Abelton Live is ready to go and so is AmpliTube. But I still can"t get Fuse to see my amp. The amp is great but I'd like to get into the Fuse software with it. I also went back to where I bought it and got a new cord to make sure that wasn't the problem, and it still doesn't work. Help!

Does Fuse start up fine on the screen you can see it ? If that's OK ..try opening the device manager and plug/unplug the Amp and see if you see it populate ..if not ..try unplugging all USB related hardware you can see and try just the Amp on its own .. there are many threads on this forum if you search where you'll find more definite help to your question...or you can directly contact Fender which might be best.

You should be able to tell if your computer has found the amp right when you either plug in the USB if the amp is on or right after you turn the amp on when it's plugged in with USB. You should hear the doorbell sounds going on or off.

When I finally got Fuse to work and plugged in my M II, Fuse found the amp right away, same when I plugged in my G-DEC 3 Thirty. But... when I hooked up my Mustang V and tried it, no luck with Fuse finding the amp, either unplugging and then plugging back in, or turning the amp on and off.

I finally got Fuse to find the amp when I had the amp connected with USB and turned on, then rebooted Fuse. When Fuse came up again, it found the amp and all was swell. Not sure what the problem was, but it finally worked.

Hey Sixstrat,

I believe we spoke on the phone last week and resolved this issue, am I correct? I apologize if I'm mistaken.
