From an MP3 player?.. just a regular USB cable... mini USB .. You probably have one lying around .. like the one that came with your Mustang Amp but plugs into the MP3 player ..try it.

Wait, you can drive audio into the Mustangs with USB? I thought that was control and audio out.

I was understanding the only way to pump audio into it was with the AUX input. Then you'd use an 1/8" to 1/8" (headphone to headphone) cable.

Wrong?

You are correct.

Use the AUX input with a 1/8" to 1/8" (headphone to headphone) cable.

The USB is only for Fuse and audio out to PC or Mac as in recording.

This is what I thought too

Yes you will need an extension 1/8" to 1/8" male stereo adaptor then just run it into the auxillary input on the Mustang amp from either your MP3 player or your Headphones Jack on your PC/Laptop.

It will work with anything that has a headphone socket or a line-out socket. These are usually 3.5mm stereo jack plugs. You just need a lead with the appropriate stereo plug on each end - exactly the same as if you were connecting your phone, ipod, whatever, to the 'aux in' socket on a car stereo, home stereo, PC audio input, etc.

Connect one plug to your device, and the other plug to the 'aux in' on the Mustang. The 'aux in' on the Mustang is just an analogue stereo audio input.

Hi everyone. I just bought a champion 100 over the weekend. I love it. However there is one problem. When I plug my iphone or iPad into the aux in jack I get an amazing amount of hissing. It seems to decrease when I turn up the volume but it's still very prominent. Everything works great when I use my laptop (PC) or when my boyfriend plugs in his android phone. It seems to be just the apple products with this issue... I've also tried multiple cables...some with much better shielding and the problem persists. Any ideas what could be causing this? :?:

check the quality of the MP3 recordings you are playing. You want the highest quality MP3's possible.
