Does anyone know if there is a reset switch on the amp?
Mine has locked up at the start up screen.Power amp still works because i can run from phones out of my lll to the aux in of the lV.and get sound.

I bought if from the guitar center which is 50 miles away and they will have another one in to replace it on Thursday.I have tried turning it off and holding data wheel down while turning it back on. it only shows Mustang 2010 screen. I had updated software when i got it home so it has latest version in it.It has work fine until yesterday.I tried connecting it to Fuse but no help, does not connect.

Many thanks in advance.
Really dont want to make the trip if i dont have to.

Sam

Sounds like you already did the Factory Reset ...so please keep us posted on what happens.. I'm pretty interested in getting the IV myself ..but I have been waiting it out ...and really hope this doesn't become too repetitive amongst them all.

Well i called Fender and a tech had me reinstall the software.Sad to say it did not solve the lockup.GC will have one on thursday.
There has to be some that will fail. My ll and both my llls are fine and im sure the lV will be too.Im thinking the lV might sound even better with the speaker that is in the lll.
Sound is so subjective tho.

My biggest fear when purchasing a modeling amp with so much software. They sound great, but will they last in the long run? Maybe if Fender offered a lifetime warrenty....

True ... nothing is 100% perfect all-the-time. The new one you get thursday shouldn't cause any headaches.. and wow..you have II and III also ..what's going on there lol ..

Hi Sam,

I'm sorry you experienced that issue on a brand new M IV. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance with the replacement.

Hey again mustang fans!

I went to the guitar center on Wensday.Amp came in a day early.
This one even sounds better.More bottom. I was wondering if perhaps they had miswired one of the speakers at the factory and was out of phase because the wires going to speakers are not marked, both are the same color, even if that was the case that would not have locked up the screen, i dont think. I did label mine with a marker. Never know when a pedal or pedal cable get tangled up back there and in a hurry yank the speaker wires off.
Any way this thing Rocks! Hell the Space Shuttle breaks down and look how much it cost :D So Buy and Play Buy and play.Children

Sam. Thanks Loren!
