I was wondering, are the preset sounds all the same on the mustang III, IV, and V? Because I really loved the Europa preset on the Mustang IV, but I'm leaning towards a mustang III as long as all the presets are the same such as the Europa one.

As far as I know the underlying sound algorithms should be the same, as well the presets.
But being different amps they don't sound exactly the same, though, you can tweak it.

Yeah, the III, IV and V all have the exact same presets ..but the IV and V are stereo sooo effects like chorus might sound sick on those two models......but it seems the III sounds just as good .if not better ..going by some the new posts here ..

The Presets are all the same between the III, IV, and V. Also, any Mustang Preset can be loaded on to any Mustang amp, regardless of the model.

Thanks for clearing that one up Loren. Presets between all models are compatable with each-other and vice-versa. :D

=======================
The coolest sound that I have ever made come out of any amp ever!

I spent two hours yesterday messing with this preset. You can clean it up for a biting clean tone with the volume on the guitar. The Middle or the Bridge pickup on my CV Strat both have amazing (and different) sounds through this preset.

It might snow here tomorrow and if so, I will be playing with this tone for more hours!
