Just picked up my Must 1,N. Yeah, I suppose i knew i was buying a SS amp, Possibly better than other SS's worth 3 to 4 times more, with it's (ss) tonal range, Still empty tone really responds a bit to adjustment, but as good as ss i've heard, Speaker had some depth. Some nice compressed punchy sounds just other side of clean to play with at low DB, Doesnt really get any better with db increased. It would be senseless to talk about lack of harmonic dynamics and clear signal from single coils because it is ss. It still is outstanding and pioneering value for money and even though you would not turn it on if you could turn on your real amp it's definately worth every cent of what it's worth and then some and i only wish i could have owned something like this when i was a teenager!!! Kudo's to fender and super good play with this thing!!!!! I suppose worth mentioning i have not even loaded the CD and there fore i am sure that more of a little sweet spot can be dialed in. Horses for courses, Good toy though.

Nope done with it, Taking it back and swapping it for a 600 champ, Making playing complicated. All i am doing is dailin in spring reverb pullin the gain and bass back and wishing it was tube. So blow it i am launchin it and gettin the real thing. Would be fun as if the computer interface and recording on PC was your thing. And i must add if anyone reading this is about to buy one and your not obsessed with tube tone like me BUY IT!! it is incredible value for money!!! Especially if you are young and like high tech toys or the whistles and bells type!!! for a SS it is brilliant. I just had to stick up for it it was my fault buyin it when i knew it was not for me!!

Well, I think it's good it's creating a reaction. Good or bad, back and forth ... lol ... good luck with your decision, or just keep it to placate the GAS pains.

kewlness - Lemme us know how it sounds..... I like the new ones the best... after listening to the original old one vs a modded one .. the newest one sounds less gain-y to me and way better ..more clean/clear..nicer tone.

Good Choice keeping the mustang. I bought one today, at $99.00 I figured I'd give it a try. Great deal and some good tones for a SS amp. I've paid more for worse. Also, I just had to return a Champ 600 recently, Some sort of ringing noise with the tubes or speaker when I had it at about 7 or 8. I sat there playing, listening to the rattle or ring, thinking, "Can I live with this?" The answer was no, so I brought it back. The champ 600's are hit or miss. I am enjoying this little Mustang though. Can you connect to the computer if you are running Linux??

I must say using this hooked up to the computer is the only way to use it, You instantly get more fender amp settings, The prinston is great, The sonic is great, It's a great Amp the tone is a good as you can expect from SS but hey its a whole lot of fun to fiddle with the software and settings.
