Hi, this is my setup:

Ibanez AS93
Mustang II
Model: British 60's
Volume: 10
Master Volume: 5

If I even just tap any of the five notes Ab-D on my low D string, there's a horrible buzz noise. I did it while looking at the back of the amp and the back panel vibrates like mad. I try to hit a note and then press on the back of the cab and it suppress the buzz slightly. Do I need to just line the area between the back panel and where it screw onto with felt or something? I love the tone on this thing but then I turn it up and it does this to me. :|

UPDATE: Never mind, I opened it up and with the back panel sitting on the carpet separate from the cab it still did it. I then checked the speaker, and each of the four screws holding it in still had several turns of tightening available; I tightened the screws and now the rattle is gone. Back to jamming!

Kudos to Fender for making an affordable amp with great tone and a fun interface!

Just a pity the QC on your amp was a bit rubbish! Hope mine doesn't arrive with the same problem, but if it does, I know how to fix it thanks to you :)

You can also use foam weather stripping the kind you would use on windows or doors, you can put it on the inside of the back panel of your amp to stop any vibrations.

Perhaps the 5year warranty may be used.
