When installing the fuse software i had some problems with it,first it said i did not have netframework sp1 and would take around 2 hours to install on dialup and 14 minutes with dsl but it was installed in a few seconds and stated the install was successful and i forgot to mention about silverlight that had to be also installed and my mustang I also needed a firmware update so after i installed silverlight and my amp was successfully updated,i hooked the mustang to my computer with usb cable and opened up fuses main screen with the amp head display and the bass ,treble, mid, and other knobs would not respond to my mouse but it would work if i turned the knobs on the amp itself and then computer knobs would move,i then uninstalled the fuse software but it did not completely uninstall but what is strange is that silverlight was still installed and it worked like it should have and i could now move all knobs and other parameters with my mouse from fuses main display screen,i still cannot completely reinstall the fuse software because after it says to turn the amp off and than on again and mentions something about silverlight it states that the instalation was successful but i know netframework and some other updates are not fully installed, can anyone give me some advice with this issue?

This is fine ...you must have a blazing fast connection...

and stated the install was successful and i forgot to mention about silverlight that had to be also installed and my mustang I also needed a firmware update so after i installed silverlight and my amp was successfully updated,i hooked the mustang to my computer with usb cable and opened up fuses main screen with the amp head display and the bass ,treble, mid, and other knobs would not respond to my mouse but it would work if i turned the knobs on the amp itself and then computer knobs would move,i then uninstalled the fuse software but it did not completely uninstall

How do you know it didn't un-install ?

but what is strange is that silverlight was still installed and it worked like it should

How would this be possible when you un-installed Fuse ? Silverlight just saves settings and stuff ..it doesn't have Fuse Interface ..so the un-install completely failed... and Fuse remained.. it seems.

have and i could now move all knobs and other parameters with my mouse from fuses main display screen,

Well this is great ..so everything is fine now? correct?

i still cannot completely reinstall the fuse software because after it says to turn the amp off and than on again and mentions something about silverlight it states that the instalation was successful but i know netframework and some other updates are not fully installed, can anyone give me some advice with this issue?

If its working like you said above ..why worry ..just relax an use it.. I would.

Yes,everything in fuse seems to be working(except the guitar tuner did not work that good for me) and i checked if fuse was in the add or remove programs in win xp and it shows that it is:fender fuse 36.03mb and also the firmware update:2.1.0.8,55.96mb,is there any other amp models that i can download into fuse, for exsample more high gain amp models like the metal 2000?

Sounds good ... and No...no Amp models exist or seem possible at this time ...but lots of awesome PRESETs are available with the Metal 2000, etc ... The Metal 2000 (green) lit one is ...one of my TOP favorites.

Hey Guys,

Metalman50 - It sounds like things are working for you. What problems did you experience with the tuner?

Regarding the tuner ... the response time is way too slow to make it useful.

I find the tuner more than perfect when using it on the Amp itself ..but from the Fuse panel ...I found it less accurate ..and maybe slow like you said.. but I haven't tried it since Fuse 2.1.0.8 and w/ the newest Firmware installed.

Same here, at least in Fuse. Response is so slow as to make it unusable. I haven't tried it on the amp itself.

I shoulda been more specific ... I find the tuner too slow in FUSE to be accurate ... but it works ok on the amp itself.

The tuner in fuse is just not usable for me because it is not just slow to respond but also shows the wrong string being tuned, for exsample the low E on my guitar would be a D on the tuner and the A string would be a E on the tuner,ect...,it would also show unstable tunings but the tuner on my mustang I works good like it should,i hope fender will have a fix for this problem with a future firmware upgrade.
