Congrats on your purchases, guys. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding these amps.

Hi Loren. Congrats to Fender. Killer amps, killer tones, killer price :)
Some folks here including myself notice an issue with the clean tone on many amp models. So far it seems present on the Mustangs I, II an III. We don't know if it's present with the IV and V models.

It'a a kind of Obnoxius tail end distortion you can hear on these two clips I made using my Mustang I. Using some headphones will help too. It's not a major issue but for some, it's annoying.

Here are the links to the clips and their associated threads:

Clip 1:

Clip 2:

We would like to have your opinion and would like to know if Fender will address this issue in a near futur.

Thanks a lot!

I have a question about power.

I'd buy the Mustang IV to replace my Twin Reverb, because it is too powerful to me.

Is that 150 watts are bearable. Compared to the twin 85w lamps, will it be too powerful?

Congratulations. How does the IV sound at low volume levels for home use? And are the volume controls too sensitive at low levels or anything?

Me too mate, could be end of February by the time I get it. Most depressing cos I already sold my blackstar ht-5 and have had to borrow an amp from a friend :(
