The G-DEC's sound really cool and so does the short clip of the Mustang IV.

Oh wow! - those Mustang IV tones are just killer! I've been gigging with my '05 CyberDeluxe for years, but it may be time to retire that pup! Tone like that *and* it's stereo too! - it's a great time to be alive :)

That said, I have decided to wait until I get a chance to demo the new Digitech Fusion amps in the spring. Pretty much the same configs as offered on the Mustangs and similar price points. If those amps sound anything like some of the GSP1101 clips I've heard, those will be tough to beat... We'll see if I can wait that long... ;)

Interesting ..Anyone know anything about 'Digitech Amplifiers'? are they known for there effects or something?

Looks like both 75XD and 150XD have preset editing support over USB, but the other's don't .. The 20/30? sec looper is useful to me. Are these just a Mustang knock-off to grab some market.. or you really think they may have some potential here... no effects loop neither. Lots of Amp models tho.

No direct record via USB, and the two Digitech pedals I've owned including the RP250 sounded tinny and fizzy. The old cheap Model 100 one actually sounded better than the fancy "Audio DNA" RP250. I wouldn't hold my breath on these, Cyber II blows their stuff away. Especially on distortion. Digitech OD sounds relatively cheesy to my ears. And they can't get the BF clean like the Mustangs either.

Hmmm, that would be a deal killer for me on the Digitechs. I've been recording quite a bit with my Mustang II into GarageBand via USB and it really sounds good (and it's dead simple - I just turn the amp on and GarageBand recognizes everything straightaway...).

Yeah, trash what I said then. I think I've had Digitech pedals in the past and they were
no good to me either.....The only pedal I recognize is there Bad Monkey that gets a bit of attention ... but I'm on the True Bypass wagon collection now..... I'll guess up-front these Fusion Amps turn out to sound like a digital nightmare....but I kind'a like the Fusion name and the purple amp look ..but it probably ends up sounding like one massive cheap pedal .............. lol

you could also try to hook up your mustang to a stereo power amp and then into a 4x12 cab,i'am sure this would also sound very good, let me know if anyone gives this setup a try?sorry for the long post.

Exactly! And this is essentially what I hope to do with a Mustang V (Head). I'm hoping to run some FX (TC-2290 delay + Lexicon PCM-91 reverb) through the serial FX loop of the Mustang V and run the (stereo) headphone jack (off the Mustang V) to a mixing board which will report to a Mesa Boogie 50:50 (stereo) tube power amp and a pair of EVM-12L cabs, when needed. Most of the time, I expect I'll play (to headphones) through the headphone jack of the board itself.
